Upper Peninsula Waterfalls
All but one of Michigan's named waterfalls are in the Upper Peninsula, and many of those are located in or near the Keweenaw Peninsula. The landscape is so rugged that almost every stream and creek has a small waterfall hidden on it somewhere -- many of which are known only to locals and explorers.

My Explorations
Waterfalls fascinate me. Finding a hidden waterfall deep in the woods evokes a feeling of true exploration -- finding something nobody has ever seen before. Many waterfalls featured here are far off the beaten track, found by chance or word of mouth.
