The Croatia trip, Day 10 Just outside my hotel was a lovely (and large) terrace, with a wide variety of seats, couches, tables, and chairs. Also, some beautiful lights, lit each night. On this particular night, I was invited to join my advisor and many of his (Bulgarian) countrymen for some drinks on the terrace. We had a good time chatting, taking photos, and enjoying local wines -- and I even understood some of the language! (English words make their way in to every language, it seems!)
